SUNCOAST ARCHITECT is a Florida architecturally licensed design corporation located on Dearborn Street in historic Olde Englewood Village. Our firm's commitment to both Charlotte and Sarasota counties, our primary markets, is at the core of our mission statement, through our work and volunteer involvements. We have established credibility, knowledge, teamwork and excellence amongst county, state and federal jurisdictional agencies, non-profit organizations, community and citizen groups, private sector development companies and private homeowners.
SUNCOAST ARCHITECT has experience in data collection, pre-design analysis, feasibility, special studies, design, construction documents, permitting and supervision during construction.
Our staff grasps technical management and coordination issues sensitive to typical project settings; has the ability to pursue work in a skillful and timely manner; utilizes cost control techniques and adheres to time and budget constraints.
As our team members have worked with large firms during our careers, we have purposely skewed the bland "bigger is better" focus towards "personal inclusiveness". It is the quality of our professional skills and timely attentiveness that facilitate effective client relationships, budget consciousness and schedule adherence. The firm's partners are involved in each and every phone call, meeting, decision and construction inspection.
Established in 2005, SUNCOAST ARCHITECT has had the pleasure of working on many successful projects with homeowners, developers, business owners, non-profits and local governments. In addition to the single and multi-family residential projects that they have completed, noteworthy projects include; Englewood FL Chamber of Commerce, West Dearborn Veteran Memorial, Venice SKY Academy, WannaB Inn Resort, Palm Island Resort Event Venue, Howard’s Restaurant, Charlotte County Airport Rental Car Facility and The Lighthouse Grill at Stump Pass.
The firm does not limit their practice to one specialty architectural style and they pride themselves on design style diversity. Often times the project’s architectural style is Client Driven, Location Driven or driven by Site Conditions.
Our project styles range from British West Indies, Florida Cracker, Old Florida, Mediterranean, Contemporary, Key West, Southern Colonial and Modern architectural styles. Additionally, we often mix architectural styles as Florida is known for its vernacular architecture, which characteristically does not fall into a single design genre.
